Day Programs (COI/PRP)

Through our Day Programs, we work with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illnesses to develop skills to be as independent as they would like to be, based on a person-centered approach. We offer a combination of individual and group sessions provided on-site in our offices and off-site in the community. We also intentionally cultivate community in our day programs, with regular recreational activities, day-trips, and events planned for our clients! Our Day Programs are officially designated as Community Integration Programs (COI) / Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs (PRP).

As part of our comprehensive continuum of care, clients participating in our Community Integration Program may also see a therapist and medical prescriber through our Outpatient Mental Health Clinics and be housed in our Residential Rehabilitation Program. Clients living in the community are also welcome to join our program, with no restrictions on receiving therapy and medication management services from other providers. Each participant in our day program is connected with a Case Manager, who helps to coordinate medical appointments, link clients to community resources, and develop rehabilitation plans.

Together, we empower clients to develop the following skills:

Independent Living

Health Management

Employment-Readiness

Social Skills

Symptom Management

Clients in community with their arms over each other shoulders

Our Forestville, Lanham, California, Odenton & Waldorf locations offer on-site and off-site options most days of the week.  We also have a community-based (off-site) PRP in Germantown, Silver Spring, and Lanham.
